ABOUT
W.S.W.D
The World Soul Winning Day is a day set aside to reach out to the lost with the gospel of Jesus, globally.
What is W.S.W.D about?
The World Soul Winning Day is held every year on the 1st of May, and it is a day dedicated to evangelism with the target to reach the lost. On that day Christians are encouraged to go out into the streets in groups and clusters, to bring the knowledge of Jesus, to the dying world.
Since its inception on the 1st May 2021, its maiden edition saw 100’s of people from around the globe, hitting the streets in clusters to reach out to the lost for Christ. The second edition which was held on the 30th of April and 1st of May, 2022 had a greater number of believers from around the world, reaching out to the lost through street evangelism, outreach programs, and prison and hospital visitations. A lot of success stories have been recorded over the years, as souls were won, and in some cases, cell groups and churches were born.
What is the goal?
-
To create awareness and inspire believers to win souls
-
To reach out to the lost and the dying world with the gospel of Jesus Christ
-
To equip believers with the basic knowledge and tools for effective soul winning
-
To provide basic discipleship for new believers to kick start their journey with God
-
To make soul winning, a lifestyle for believers
The World Soul Winning Day is driven through the city coordinator/city cluster strategy, where individuals voluntarily sign up to lead a cluster (a group of believers within a city, who are interested in soul winning), to share the gospel to the lost, within their city.
